Customer Notice - 3 August 2026

Dear Esteem Customer, 

It has come to the Bank's attention on Saturday morning that a batch of card transactions processed on Friday night were erroneously credited to certain of our clients' accounts.

The Bank immediately investigated this issue to assess and rectify the situation. Accordingly, we are pleased to inform you that the necessary corrective actions were completed on Saturday afternoon itself to rectify these erroneous transactions.

The Bank invites clients who have any queries or concern to contact our Call Centre on 428 4555 or send us an email at contact@mcbseychelles.com. We shall revert to your concerns if any, as you are also invited to contact your nearest Branch.

The Bank apologises for any inconvenience this technical issue may have caused.

Temporary Bank closure on Saturdays

MCB Seychelles wishes to advise its customers and the public in general in line with the energy conservation implemented in the country as result of the Middle East Conflict that all MCB Seychelles branches will be closed on all Saturdays of the month, except for the last Saturday of the Month.

This arrangement takes effect from Saturday 16th May 2026 and will be maintained until the situation improves. The public is asked to take note of the following days on which the bank will remain open:

  • Saturday 30th May 2026,
  • Saturday 27th June 2026,
  • Saturday 25th July 2026,
  • Saturday 29th August 2026,
  • Saturday 26th September 2026,
  • Saturday 31st October 2026.

On which the following three Branches shall open:

-         Grand Anse Praslin Branch

-         Anse Royale Branch

-         Victoria Branch

Our digital and remote channels remain fully available for your convenience, including:

-         MCB Juice App & Internet Banking

-         ATMs for cash deposits & withdrawals

-         Cards & POS Services

-         Night safe facilities.

Any changes regarding this arrangement will be communicated to the public before taking effect. The bank also wishes to advise its customers to schedule their visits during the week from Monday to Friday, to avoid any inconveniences or disappointments over the weekend.

Distribution of New 500 SCR Notes Caravelle House ATM Machine

We wish to advise all our customers and the public in general that as from today, the new SCR 500 Notes shall be in circulation at our MCB Caravelle ATM Machines only.

Please note that our ATM machines will not be accepting any new SCR500 notes (only) for deposits now, deposit of the new notes is to be done inside the branches at cashiering counters.
